Founded out of the thirst for adventure.

 Alex and Jason started Vanlife Custom Vans in order to build the ultimate adventuring machines. As extreme sport enthusiasts, we carry tons of gear with us wherever we go. From climbing-gear to mountain bikes, to highlines; and we wanted to build a van that would let us bring all our gear while still living with most of the amenities one would find in a modern home. So in 2019 we went for it and we built a 2018 Ram Promaster and turned it into what we think is very close to a do-it-all adventuring animal; it’s definitely not perfect, but after living in it for 12 months biking, climbing, and skiing we know what needs to be improved upon (pro-tip, if you plan on chasing pow get an AWD).

We, fortunately, discovered that the van performed better than we had hoped and it thrived in its many snowstorms and offroad adventures. After driving more than 45,000 miles within a year and a half we sold the van to fund the start of our business Vanlife Custom Vans.
